About Kapasa

A new weaving mill in Palsana, Surat

Kapasa is the fabric brand of KSM FUTURES LLP, a mill founded in 2026 by the family behind Citius Textiles. We weave yarn-dyed dobby upholstery and curtain fabric on rapier looms, using the effect yarns the family already makes.

Where we come from

A yarn family, one step downstream

Citius Textiles makes fancy yarns in Surat: slub, bouclé, chenille, neppy and gimped constructions. Until now the family has sold yarn. Kapasa is the family weaving it itself.

What we are building is deliberately small and specific: four Somet Super Excel 220 cm dobby rapier looms in one shed at Palsana, weaving polyester-dominant upholstery, curtain and cushion cloth in 137–150 cm sellable widths. Textured cloth at a plain-cloth lead time is the whole idea.

We sell to the trade: traders, converters, sofa makers and importers. Specs are public, prices on enquiry. Success with them takes more than good-looking fabric — it takes consistency, reliability and an understanding of what each buyer needs.

How we work

Four things you can hold us to

  • Texture from the yarn

The slub, bouclé and chenille come from Citius Textiles, the family's yarn business. We design the cloth and the yarn together rather than buying effect afterwards.

  • Specs are public, never estimated

Every design carries a spec sheet. Values we have not tested are marked test pending. We do not publish an abrasion or colourfastness figure we cannot show a report for.

  • A straight answer

Send a design code or a GSM, width and end use. We will say within a business day whether the construction is ours or someone else's.

  • Built to run, not to show

Four dobby rapier looms in one shed at Palsana. Small enough to change a construction quickly, wide enough to cut 137–150 cm sellable.
